Celebrities In Fedora Hats

Ever been to the Hollywood Walk of Fame? Many of these celebrities have worn a Fedora hat at one point or another. Some of them, like Harrison Ford wore one in his series of hit movies about the infamous character, Indiana Jones. If you want to go further back, you also can watch Singing in the Rain with Gene Kelly, who wore the Fedora hat with such grace and elegance that would put to shame even the most fashionable men in our generation today.

What about the classic movie, Casablanca with Humphrey Bogart ? If you have never seen this tearjerker, make time to see it. Mr. Bogart wears the Fedora hat so beautifully. Yes, he was amazingly picturesque with his Fedora hat, and even with his out of the box looks, he made women drool over him because of his finesse and style on the big screen. Men copied his “Here’s looking at you, kid.” line wearing the Fedora hat, managing to attract the attention of the women they say it to. Regardless of the kind of attention, the fact is anyone who said those lines, were sure to get second looks.

Fast forward to the 80s, and the celebrities who have been seen wearing this soft felt hat were the likes of Madonna, Michael Jackson, and even Tom Landry, the Dallas Cowboys head coach. The response was electric with so many people copying the look, and the Fedora hats got a big boost. It was like a wave of appreciation over the classic look turned trendy.

Today, even more celebrities continue to carry the Fedora hat look as part of their out-of-costume look, and for some, as part of their MTV video tracks. To name some, Usher, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Run DMC, and Rhianna. For actresses and other celebrities, you may recognize some of these names like Sienna Miller, Nicole Richie, Victoria Beckham, and Lindsay Lohan.

For sure, you must have seen Brad Pitt and Jude Law wearing a Fedora hat at one point, especially since they have their photos splashed all over the internet. Interestingly, there have been both negative and positive comments on how they styled their Fedoras, nevertheless, wearing them still got the attention they were looking for.

With so many top celebrities seeming to endorse this kind of fashion, it’s no wonder you now see the Fedora hats on the runways of high fashion street. Brand names like Gucci and Quiksilver have even made their own version of the Fedora hats.

If you are looking for the right Fedora hat, you will be surprised that the prices of these kinds of hats ranged from a low $10 to a whopping $200! Of course, you can also find great deals online or in thrift stores if you have the energy to rummage through other people’s used clothing. Whichever Fedora hat you get, as long as it is in good condition, you will always be in style - just like the famous celebrities in Fedora hats.
